CHOCOHOLICS can still bag a bargain on Cadbury Easter eggs when a sale means that prices start at 48p.
Easter may long be over but the confectionery makers are giving shoppers the chance to stock up on the sweet stuff ahead of next year.
Who are we kidding - they're also ideal to snack on now - because who can actually wait a whole year for chocolate?
Among the best bargains is a single that costs 48p down from 58p.
You can even buy a whole Dairy Milk Easter egg that weighs 77g and comes without the box. It costs 50p in the sale, down from £1.09.
Shoppers can save £4 on medium size eggs, which come in Wispa, Picnic and Oreo flavours and have two extra choccies in each box, which now cost £2.
SAVING on your shop can make a big difference to your wallet. Here are some tips from Hannah Maundrell, editor of Money.co.uk, about how you can cut the cost of your shopping bills:
Easter bunnies can also get their hands on an egg hunt pack which was £6.99 but now costs £2.99.
Each pack contains three bags of mini eggs, three chocolate bunnies and 14 hollow eggs.
They're not the cheapest Easter eggs currently on sale. Beady-eyed shoppers have spotted single Oreo and Creme eggs for 25p in Tesco and giant Cadbury Easter eggs for £2 at Asda.
But while you may be able to find a better deal at the supermarket, bargains aren't guaranteed as stocks are limited because retailers are tyring to get rid of them.
You won't find discounted Easter eggs on sale on the supermarkets' websites either but you can order them directly from Cadbury.
You will need to factor in delivery costs though which will eat into any savings you make.
Orders of up to £10 costs £3.95 and ones for more than a tenner costs £5.50 to deliver.
You can still bag a bargain on Lindt chocolate too as it's also having a 50 per cent off clearance sale on its Easter eggs.
