Uber users could end up on BUSES as boss suggests public transport system combined with ride-sharing tech

UBER users could end up on the buses after the taxi app’s boss revealed he wants it to run public transport systems.
Dara Khosrowshahi, chief executive of the ride-sharing tech firm, told a conference: “I want to run the bus systems for a city.
"Be able to take an Uber and get into the subway…get out and have an Uber waiting for you.”
He said Uber could be a platform for other transit providers, like the way Amazon operates with its third-party sellers.
“Cars are to us what books are to Amazon,” Khosrowshahi said.
The controversial firm is already trialling bike-sharing in San Francisco.
