It could be you…if you move to these addresses: UK’s luckiest lottery-winning postcodes revealed
Try your luck at winning millions in one of these areas
MILLIONS of people regularly try their luck to win millions by entering the lottery, but those living in certain parts of the UK are more likely to win the big bucks.
The luckiest place to live in for major National Lottery wins is Romford in Essex.
The RM postcode, which includes Romford, Dagenham, Hornchurch, Grays and Purfleet, has had more winners of £50,000 prizes or higher than anywhere else in the country.
The residents of Romford have remained at the top of the lucky list as research has found that since 2012, the area has been crowned the luckiest four times.
If you don't fancy moving to Essex you can try your luck by living in Teeside or Warrington which closely follow Romford.
The prize-winning statistics have also been split by date to reveal that the Truro postcode in Cornwall has had more big winners per head over the past two years than anywhere else.
It is followed by the Scottish pair of Paisley and Kilmarnock.
The Birmingham postcode remains as the location of the most winners of £50,000 or more since the National Lottery began, at 1,180, and accounts for 127 of the 4,250 millionaires created so far.
The National Lottery's senior winners' advisor, Andy Carter, said: "It seems 'the only way is Essex' for big wins - well done to Romford for topping the charts.
"The stats reveal National Lottery luck is all over the country with numerous big winners and millionaires in every single postcode area."
