Trump remembers ‘tremendous’ late brother Robert – as he’s seen with Barron & Melania for 1st time since coronavirus hit

The memorial service for Robert will likely be on Friday at Trump told reporters Monday.
During a revealing interview on , Trump acknowledged it was "not a great weekend, it was very hard."
"He was a great guy, a tremendous guy," Trump said. "We were best friends.
"Losing him, not easy," he concluded. "[Robert] was always there ... He wasn’t a jealous person. He was a very smart guy.

Trump acknowledged that "a lot of times in families there’s jealousy, especially among children" but revealed there was no envy between them.

Some users claimed the president, who was over the weekend to visit his brother, only came to spend “his time golfing and tweeting.”

Trump released an emotional statement confirming Robert's passing via his Press Secretary just before 11pm on August 15.
"[Robert] was not just my brother, he was my best friend," Trump said. "He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again.
"His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace."
