Fury at Labour donor’s bias against Brit brickies with ‘Polish-only’ job ad for building firm
Wealthy benefactor's move infuriates British tradesmen sick of being 'undercut by foreign workers'

A WEALTHY Labour donor has sparked outrage after his building firm advertised jobs for Polish workers only.
Dr Anwar Ansari’s AA Homes and Housing has won lucrative government contracts and boasts assets totalling £80million.
But brickies and other tradesmen were furious when they saw the ad.
Under the firm’s name it read: “A big construction company in South London is looking for Polish kitchen fitters, plumbers, tilers, carpenters and labourers.”
Scaffolder Josh Turvey, 26, from Camden, North London, was disgusted when he saw it online and called it discrimination against British workers.

Dr Ansari donated almost £20,000 to London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s campaign and gave £25,000 to Yvette Cooper’s Labour leadership bid.
The job ad for Croydon was removed after 12 hours on Tuesday. Dr Ansari, who lives in a six-bed mansion in Caterham, Surrey, insisted the advert was a mistake.
He added: “A new person put it on. We employ all different types of nationalities. I’ve spoken to the staff member and we may not be using her again. I don’t know why she did it.”
AA Homes and Housing has contracts with government departments including the Ministry of Justice and UK Border Agency.
