Incredible new ‘SpotMINI’ robo-dinosaur is as clever as it is terrifying
Astonishingly advanced machine is smart enough to do your dishes, if you're brave enough to let it into your home

The world's top robotics firm has unveiled a bizarre new machine that looks like a cross between a giraffe and a dinosaur.
This mega-advanced machine is called SpotMini and has been designed by Boston Dynamics, which is famed for its weird and wonderful creations.
The scary looking robot is not the sort of pet that kids are likely to warm to.
It's fair to say that it doesn't resemble Spot the Dog, a much-loved children's character, looking more like a Terminator's nightmarish lapdog than a cute, cuddly pooch.
But despite its rather fearsome looks, SpotMini is really rather friendly.
It can use its extendible neck and grabby mouth to pick up objects and move them around.
In a video produced to show off the robo-dino's incredible skills, it can be seen loading up a dishwasher.
It's also shown slipping on a banana skin, before picking itself up off the floor using its giraffe-style extendible neck.
