Tory Ben Wallace stands up for pal BoJo, warning Gove will be castrated like Game of Thrones’ Theon Greyjoy
Conservative minister hits out at Justice Secretary after he stabbed Boris Johnson in the back to launch his own fight to be PM
BORIS Johnson’s closest ally yesterday threatened to castrate Michael Gove, like Game of Thrones character Theon Greyjoy.
Tory Minister Ben Wallace, who ran Mr Johnson’s doomed bid for No 10, tweeted the warning after Mr Gove stabbed BoJo in the back to launch his own fight to be PM.
Mr Gove, a fan of the gory TV hit, had been asked at his campaign launch in Westminster if he still identified with scheming character Tyrion Lannister — something he denied.
Wallace hit out: “He is actually Theon Greyjoy or will be by the time I am finished with him.”
Mr Gove has been linked to Game of Thrones after joking in 2014 he identified with scheming imp Tyrion.
He said: “You see there that this misshapen dwarf, reviled throughout his life, thought in the eyes of some to be a toxic figure, can at last rally a small band of loyal followers.”

The clashes came as Mr Johnson surfaced for the first time since quitting the race to say: “I cannot, unfortunately, get on with doing what I wanted to do, so it’ll be up to somebody else now.”
But he said he wished Mr Gove well — through gritted teeth.
He insisted he was in “fine fettle”, but pals revealed the former Mayor of London is “utterly devastated”.
In a further humiliation, London Mayor Sadiq Khan is set to sell three water cannons purchased by Boris in 2014.
