Three police officers face misconduct hearings after ‘ignoring’ warnings about paedophile rocker Ian Watkins
South Wales Police have been slammed by IPCC for not acting sufficiently

MISCONDUCT hearings are set to occur for three South Wales Police officers who reportedly failed to fully investigate complaints about shamed paedophile rocker Ian Watkins.
The former Lostprophets front man, 38, was jailed for 35 years in 2013 for a number of sickening child abuse charges made against him - with one count including the attempted rape of a fan's baby.
Now, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has criticised the South Wales Police service for failing to act on complaints made in 2008 by ex-girlfriend Joanna Mjadzelics to Welsh social services.
In 2011, Mjadzelics reportedly e-mailed a South Wales Chief Constable to alert authorities to Watkins raping children, but again nothing was done.

An IPCC investigator has now recommended that a detective sergeant has a case to answer for gross misconduct after allegedly not taking sufficient action to progress the enquiries.
Two detective constables also have a case to answer for gross misconduct, after allegedly not undertaking all reasonable and practicable lines of enquiry.
Mjadzelics was cleared of all charges in 2015 after being accused of possessing indecent images of a child, sending pictures to the singer and demanding he send her illegal pornography.
At the time, Ms Mjadzelics told The Sun: "I was ignored by the police on multiple occasions.
"It is now clear that, had I been listened to, some children would not have come to harm at Watkins’ hands.
"The police have a lot to learn about how they treat credible witnesses and victims of abuse."
