Theresa May confirms Larry the Cat can keep his job as Chief Mouser at Number 10
Tabby cat joined the team at Downing Street to combat the mouse problem but is said to not be very good at what he does

INCOMING PM Theresa May has vowed to keep Downing Street’s Chief Mouser Larry the Cat in his job when she gets the keys to No 10, The Sun can reveal.
After fears Larry could be fur the chop, Mrs May’s spokesman said last night: “Theresa May has spent seven years making sure we have all been kept safe. Larry can sleep easy.”
Larry famously entered rodent infested Downing Street in 2011, a year after David Cameron became PM.
The grandly titled Chief Mouser actually answers to the Cabinet Office and does not belong to the Premier.
