Pilot, 91, rushed to hospital after crashing his microlight aircraft into tree

A 91-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after the microlight aircraft he was flying crashed into a tree.
After the crash the aircraft became stuck around 15ft up the oak tree - a major rescue operation was launched after the incident in a field in Edenbridge, Kent, yesterday afternoon at around 3.15pm.
The pensioner, who was trapped inside for up to two hours, was freed by firefighters and assessed by paramedics before being taken to hospital for x-rays and treatment.
He is understood to have suffered neck and chest injuries.
