A WOMAN is fighting for her life after a boat in Ibiza burst into flames.
Five people were aboard the vessel when it became engulfed in fire, giving the 37-year-old horrendous burns to 90 per cent of her body.
A 36-year-old man believed to be her partner was also severely burnt sustaining at least 80 per cent burns.
Both have now been transferred to a specialist burns unit in Valencia where the pair remain in critical condition.
A 64-year-old man, believed to be the woman's father, was also injured burning his arm and two others were overcome by the toxic fumes.
The drama unfolded on Sunday afternoon in Ibiza port near the petrol station.
Witnesses said the 23 foot boat caught fire and exploded just after it had refuelled.
Two other people were sent flying into the water and a jet ski accompanying the boat also caught fire.
Firefighters put out the blaze with the help of bystanders who rushed to the rescue by aiming hoses at the blazing boat.
An investigation is currently underway to discover what caused the boat to catch fire.
A spokesman for the Port Authority said "nothing had been ruled out".
All the victims are Spanish and from Valencia.
