"President Clinton has continued to make excellent progress over the last 24 hours," his statement reads. "He will remain overnight at UC Irvine Medical Center to continue to receive antibiotics before an expected discharge tomorrow."
It was reported on Twitter that Bill Clinton was hospitalized for "non-Covid, non-heart" related issue.
It was later confirmed that Clinton was at University California Irvine with an infection.
"He is on the mend, in good spirits, and is incredibly thankful to the doctors, nurses and staff providing him with excellent care," spokesperson for Clinton, Angel Ureña, wrote on Twitter.
