Police tasered prisoner on same day Aston Villa star Dalian Atkinson was fatally zapped
The 47-year-old man was being held at Isleworth Crown Court when he was tasered with the same type of weapon

COPS tasered a prisoner after refusing a DNA sample on the same day Aston Villa ace Dalian Atkinson died after being zapped with same kind of weapon.
The man, 47, had been held in Isleworth Crown Court, Middlesex, when the drama unfolded on August 15, it has only just emerged.
He had been transported from HMP Wormwood Scrubs for a hearing when Metropolitan cops approached him in his cell.
When they asked him for a DNA sample he refused so they detained him to get one before he started violently attacking them.
They used their taser to shoot him with 50,000 volts when he refused to calm down.
A source said: “The prisoner became aggressive and started shouting.
“He was lashing out and swearing and the officers believed he was a threat.
“One drew their Taser and shot him. He fell to the ground immediately.
“He was twitching and in agony. He gave up pretty quickly.”
In a strange coincidence the incident happened on the same day that ex footballer Dalian Atkinson died after being tasered.
