TWO pilots arrested at Glasgow Airport on suspicion of being too drunk to fly are due to appear in court today.
The United Airlines flight to Newark, New Jersey, was halted because of concerns over the pair.
The airline installed a fresh crew to the plane, carrying 141 passengers and it left on Saturday after a ten-hour delay.
The original pilots were both reported to be veterans who had worked as flight instructors in the military.

The pair last night remained in custody and are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.

Last month Jean-Francois Perreault, 39, and Imran Zafar Syed, 37, were charged under the same legislation after allegedly being under the influence of alcohol before they were due to fly from Glasgow to Canada.
The two men had been due to pilot an Air Transat jet with up to 250 people on board.
They were bailed after appearing at Paisley Sheriff Court but were ordered to surrender their passports.
