Hopeless hen party are rescued by RNLI after their boat gets stuck in the mud during planned ‘low key’ evening
The girls thought a relaxed trip on the River Dart would be the perfect evening their bride-to-be wanted

A HOPELESS hen party were forced to call the RNLI after their boat got stuck in the mud.
The girls who arranged the day for bride-to-be Amy Sanderson thought an afternoon afloat on the beautiful River Dart at Devon would set the mood for dinner that evening.
However, she and her three friends had to be saved from the river after their boat ran aground.
Fire crews and coastguard teams from Dartmouth and Teignmouth were called to the bizarre scene at 7.48pm on Saturday.
An RNLI spokesperson confirmed the women were travelling down the river to spend the evening in Dartmouth when they got into difficulty.
