North Korea threatens ‘all out war on the West’ as it celebrates building deady 3,000-TONNE submarine
Defector Kim Heung-kwang claimed the gigantic submarine could be finished by October next year

DICTATOR Kim Jong-un has been building his most powerful weapon yet for a potential war with the west.
Defector Kim Heung-kwang claimed the police state is developing a gigantic 3,000 tonne submarine.
He said: "The decision for this development was made by Kim Jong-un and his advisors, who wanted to create an environment in which the US and international society can’t easily underestimate the North’s preemptive nuclear strike capability.”
He claimed the vessel, made from old Russian submarine parts, will be the country's largest.
The defector said: "From the various human intelligence sources we have gathered, Pyongyang since 2009 has been developing new 3,000-ton class submarines.
“The goal is to finish the development by October, 2017.”
The enormous submarine will be capable of loading four ballistic missiles which can be launched from the vessel, .
The North Korea Intellectuals Solidarity (NKIS) – a group of dissidents of the despotic state – said a new radar system could be also completed by the end of this year.
It said: “The North, in 2008, purchased two old submarines from Russia, and their plan is to use the parts from the two subs to make a new one.”
Last week Kim Jong-Un looked thrilled watching the apparent firing of a submarine-launched ballistic missile.
He laughed and joked with officials, hailing the missile launch “the greatest success”.
It came on the state’s ‘Military First’ holiday, which boasts mass dancing and outdoor concerts in celebration of the beginning of Kim Jong-Il’s Songun (military first) leadership in 1960.
South Korea’s Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) said the projectile flew some 500kms.
It also emerged the tyrant executed one of North Korea’s top officials with an anti-aircraft gun after the man fell asleep in a meeting.
The despot ordered the killing of Ri Yong-jin, a boss in the education ministry, after he made the fatal mistake of nodding off as the ‘glorious leader’ spoke.
Kim Heung-kwang claimed the submarine was being developed in the Sinpo region.
Moon Keun-sik, the director of the Korea Defense and Security Forum and a former submarine commander, told NK News: “I think the plan to modify those submarines to make a new one is a very dangerous attempt.
“Those submarines were commissioned in the ’50s and were decommissioned in the early ’90s.
"Even if the North bought them in 2008, they must have withered away too much to be used."
