The Great Fire of London 350th anniversary marked with commemorative comic book stamps

ROYAL Mail are releasing six new stamps to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London which ravaged through the capital.
The blaze was apparently started on September 2 1666 in a bakery situated on Pudding Lane, east of London Bridge and tore through the city at a frighteningly fast pace.
The great fire raged through the English capital for three days and destroyed everything in its path, including over 13,000 homes and 87 churches.
The flames completely transformed the face of London forever and to commemorate the 350th anniversary the year, the Royal Mail are releasing six new stamps.
Each stamp has been individually designed by comic book artist John Higgins and he's used his unique drawing style to illustrate the story of the fire.
Previously, John has worked with titles as Judge Dredd and 2000 AD.
