THIS is the gruesome moment a spectator was gored by a bull in eastern Spain.
The beast caught the man when he was on the wrong side of a safety cage.
The horrific video was recorded at the traditional Bous al Carrer festival in Pucel, in eastern Spain.
During the run, the city's young men are supposed to prove their courage by taunting the bulls on their way to the arena.
But the 50-year-old victim was not actually taking part in the tradition and was only there to watch the event.
He got trapped in front of a safety cage as the bull thundered towards him with its horns lowered.
As horrified spectators looked on helplessly, the bull drove one of its horns deep into his thigh and tossed the man over its head.
Then, as he lay apparently unconscious on the ground, it continued to gore him before trampling him as it ran off.
Spectators dragged the victim off the street towards emergency first aiders.
Hospital casualty surgeons mended a "serious" injury to his thigh but say he is expected to make a full recovery.
The 29-year-old's wife could only watch in horror as her husband was pushed to the ground and the bull fatally pierced him with his horn during the fight in Teruel, east of Madrid.
The matador, who has since recovered, tried to walk out of Madrid’s famous Las Ventas bullring unaided after being hurt but ended up having to be hoisted in the air by colleagues and rushed to medics with pain etched on his face.
