THIS shocking video appears to show two British inmates brutally beating a fellow prisoner they claim has been jailed for rape.

The prison service has now confirmed police are investigating the matter.
As the believed inmate cowers under their blows he is told by the two men to “stop crying” and to “get up”.
They also encourage each other to “do some rib shots” as the man they claim to be a rapist cries and holds his head in his hands.
They continue to taunt the man asking: “What you hiding for?”

The clip ends with one man asking: “Shall I break his leg?”
It is thought the footage was taken inside a UK prison and the men look to be wearing prison issue clothing.
A Prison Service spokesperson said: “We do not tolerate violence or bullying in prisons. The police are investigating this incident and so it would be inappropriate to comment."

The clips, recorded on banned mobile phones, were brazenly posted online by convict Dominic Usher, 29.
Usher was sentenced to life for kidnap, blackmail, robbery and arson.
In one video, he is seen tapping white powder out of a small plastic bag onto the back of his hand and snorting it in his cell while being cheered on by fellow lags.
Last night, after being shown the footage obtained by The Sun, prison bosses searched his cell at the prison, seizing a mobile phone and placing him in segregation.
A Ministry of Justice spokesman said at the time: “This behaviour is completely unacceptable.”
