Partner of jailed drugs baron, Kevin Hanley, ‘helped him run cocaine empire from sleepy Cotswolds village’
Hanley was jailed last year for smuggling millions of pounds worth of coke in fruit and veg

THE partner of one of Britain’s biggest cocaine barons helped him run a global narcotics empire from a Cotswolds village, a court heard.
Anni Rowland, 52, was PA for Kevin Hanley, 53, who was jailed last year after admitting smuggling millions of pounds worth of coke in fruit and veg.
He was juggling two women - Rowland, the mum of his son, and Greek TV presenter Chrysi Minadaki, 45.
Minadaki, who has been since jailed, would go with Hanley on drug deals while Rowland organised his flights from her home in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucs, the Old Bailey heard.
The mum-of-one would also transfer cash and commute with her son between the Cotswolds and London.

Cops raided the Chelsea home of co-conspirator John Fowler, 58, and recovered £2million cash and £2.5million of cocaine.
Prosecutor Richard Jory QC said Rowland’s fingerprints were found on the £2million.
He said: "Ms Rowland booked flights and accommodation for Hanley around Europe.
“She had an active role dealing with the money.”
Rowland denies conspiracy to supply drugs and money laundering.
