Man accused of ‘battering a City worker to death with a bike chain after chicken shop row’

THESE are the first pictures of the man accused of the murdering of a Czech businessman, who was beaten to death with a bike chain.
Raymond Sculley, 29, appeared at Thames Magistrates Court this morning charged with the murder of Zdenek Makar, 31, who was killed on East India Dock Road, Poplar on September 21.
Sculley will now face trial at the Old Bailey.
Mr Makar, who had been out with friends that night, was waiting for a meal at Perfect Fried Chicken, east London, when it is said he got into an "trivial argument."
As he left the chicken shop he was attacked and beaten to death with a chain by four youths riding BMX bikes.

Today Sculley, of Poplar, London was charged with the murder of Zdenek Makar.
Dressed in a grey sweater and trousers he spoke only to confirm his address and date of birth.
Four members of his family watched from the back of the court room.
Magistrate Phil Dean remanded Sculley in custody to the Old Bailey where he will appeared on Wednesday, September 28.
There was no application for bail.
A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy who were arrested on Friday were released on bail pending further enquiries.
Both are due to return to an east London police station on dates in early October.
