Two women aged 30 and 44 arrested on suspicion of child neglect after a two-year-old girl was found wandering the streets

TWO women have been arrested after a two-year-old girl was found walking through the the streets by herself.
The women, including a 30-year-old and a 44-year-old, are now facing charges of child neglect after the little girl was found by concerned members of the public over the weekend.
The two-year-old was found walking around the Tolladine area of Worcester just before 9am on Saturday.
The little girl was taken to hospital but was not found to have suffered any serious injuries.
The women arrested on suspicion of child neglect have since been released on police bail.

The little girl is now being cared for by family members.
Detective Inspector Justin Taylor, from West Mercia Police, said: "We were made aware of a two year old girl who was found in the Tolladine area of Worcester just before 9am on Saturday morning.
"Officers responded and the child was immediately taken to hospital for assessment, despite no obvious physical injuries.
"She was found to have no serious injuries and is now being cared for by family members."
He said that the public had played an important part in helping the little girl.
Det Insp Taylor said: "This is undoubtedly a concerning incident and I would like to firstly thank the wider community for the concern they showed for the child on Saturday morning and reassure them that her welfare is our, and our partner agencies', highest priority."
