Craig David felt ‘violated’ after ‘sinister stalker knocked on hotel room door & visited his home in 5 year ordeal’

CRAIG David was left feeling "violated" after a stalker knocked on his hotel room and visited his home in a five-year ordeal.
The singer, 41, was bombarded with unwanted attention by obsessed fan Tanya Jeal.
Jeal, 31, believed she was in a relationship with David and sent a letter to his parents enclosed with photos.
She showed up to his hotel room clutching a photo from when she met him at an album signing in HMV a few months earlier.
After she was escorted away by security, Jeal wrote a note to the 7 Days singer saying: "I hope Buddha deals with lies like you, Buddha will take this from here, you're an a**ehole".
Bromley Magistrates' Court heard she signed the letter from "your motherf*****g girlfriend".

In a statement read out in court, David said: "The whole series of incidents has left me feeling violated and uncomfortable in my own home."
The Re-Rewind star branded Jeal "sinister" and said that she had left him living "in fear".
He added: "I want to be able to walk down the street without looking over my shoulder.
"This female is the only person who has made me feel this way throughout the whole of my career.

"I tried to see her as someone who was a little too excited…[but it] escalated into something that was far more scary."
The court was told Jeal believed she was in a relationship with David after they first met in 2016.
She felt he was "communicating with her seemingly through the radio and that they were in love with each other".
In October 2021, Jeal stood motionless during one of David's gigs while holding the HMV photo of their first meeting and dressed as Beyonce.
She chucked a glove on the stage, which she claimed was in reference to the singer's favourite film Serendipity.
A month later she showed up at David's home and repeatedly buzzed the intercom.
David had an interim Stalking Protection Order put in place in December which banned Jeal from contacting him.
She argued the order is no longer necessary as she now says the singer is "gay" but lost her case today.
Jeal has now been banned from contacting the singer "directly or indirectly by any means", including via third parties.
Banned contact covers in person, via telephone, post, email, SMS text message or social media and also liking or commenting on posts on David's social media accounts or tagging him in posts.

The superfan is also blocked from contacting the singer's parents directly or indirectly and cannot be within 100m of David or any address he might be visiting or residing at.
Jeal also cannot attend any of his concerts and any content she posts about David online is "subject to very close scrutiny by the police".
