SHOCKING video footage has caught the moment a gang of Halloween trick or treaters set off fireworks outside a PETROL STATION.
Idiot jokers dressed in black are seen crossing a busy road beside a Shell petrol station in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire armed with the explosives.
The large group of about 15 youngsters can be heard shouting and swearing as they make their way dangerously close to the highly flammable garage.
One of the pranksters then lobs the firework into the busy road as cars approach.
Two cars heading towards a green traffic light suddenly stop as the banger ignites just metres ahead of them.
A cloud of smoke engulfs the two cars as they slowly inch away from the dangerous scene.
The group is then seen casually walking away from the scene after two people dressed in luminous vests cross the road to apparently speak to them.
It is not clear whether these were police officers.
Some of the youngsters then cover their faces as they walk away, hiding from the cameraman who appears to be filming from above a shop.
It is not known if everyone in the large group seen on camera was together.
Furious commentators slammed the idiotic behaviour after the video was posted on Facebook.
Adele Dawson blasted: "How thick and stupid can these people be right next to a petrol station?"
Liat Hobbs said: "What is wrong with these kids, there is way too much violence in this world! How come it is happening in different places?! The mind boggles!"
Laura Layton added: "And the police just stood there... seriously ... round the little s**** up and give them all a few hundred hours of community service."
