POLICE are appealing for help in tracking down a teenager missing from home without vital medication.
Shahzad Afzal, 14, was last seen around 4.30pm yesterday in Chorlton, south Manchester.
He is described as Asian, around 5ft 9ins, of a slim build with short black hair. He has brown eyes and wears glasses.
It is believed he is wearing a black jumper with leather patches on the shoulders, blue skinny tracksuit bottoms and black and red Nike Air Max trainers.
Police Constable Ben Morton of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “It is extremely out of character for Shahzad not to be in contact with his family for this amount of time.
“He does not have medication that he needs with him so his family are very worried.
“I’m urging anyone who may have seen Shahzad or knows where he is to contact police as a matter of urgency.”
Anyone with information about Shahzad’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
