BRITS are braced for snow next week with temperatures set to plunge to -4C after a week of flooding.
The Met Office has issued a level 2 alert for severe cold weather, icy conditions, or heavy snow which is forecast to begin on Sunday.

Bone-chilling conditions are set to arrive with temperatures in parts of the UK expected to dip below zero once more.
The level two cold weather alert runs from 6pm on Sunday to 9am on Thursday across the North, the Midlands, and central and eastern parts of England.
It will see temperatures across Scotland plummet below freezing by the start of next week, reaching -4C in Glasgow and -3C in Loch Rannoch.

The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for rain for Wales and many areas in England, lasting from Friday night to Saturday lunchtime.
And one has also been issued for Northern Ireland from 2pm on Saturday until 3am on Sunday.
Between 20mm and 30mm of rain is likely to fall widely, with some seeing more than 50mm - including southwest England and the Brecon Beacons.
Strong winds are also expected, with gusts of 40-50mph and possibly 60mph on exposed coasts in the south.

As of the early hours of Saturday, there were 81 flood warnings in place across the UK, meaning flooding is expected, and more than 150 flood alerts, meaning flooding is possible.
"These alerts may be updated on Monday, once confidence has improved in the timing of the cold weather and areas to be included.”
And the cold weather may well bring snow in the not so distant future.
The Met Office said: “There is a 70% probability of severe cold weather/icy conditions/heavy snow between 1800 on Sunday 15 Jan and 0900 on Thursday 19 Jan in parts of England.
"This weather could increase the health risks to vulnerable patients and disrupt the delivery of services.
Areas in northern Scotland near Fort William could experience snowfall as early as Sunday and this will continue into next week.
The Met Office said that showers would continue on Sunday, "falling as snow in the north".
While from Monday to Wednesday, the forecasters said: "An area of rain affecting southern counties early on Monday.

"Otherwise generally cold, with wintry showers initially in the north, spreading further south by midweek. Widespread overnight frost."
The weather service added: "There is a lot of uncertainty as we move into next week but there are signs of a brief colder spell which could see further snow showers."
