THE world's largest passenger plane was rocked violently by strong winds as another jet bounced off the tarmac whilst descending onto a runway in a ferocious storm.
The Emirates Airbus A380 was almost forced to land sideways and a Swiss International Air Lines pilot had to abort landing as they arrived at Amsterdam's Schipol Airport.

The Emirates pilot can be seen performing the special "crab" landing technique to overcome the adverse conditions.
The manoeuvre sees an aircraft drifting to the side as it approached the runway in order to ensure it lands in the centre of it.
