Towie star Pete Wicks joins The Sun’s Smiles at Christmas campaign by donating his Thomas the Tank Engine toy

TOWIE star Pete Wicks kept our Smiles at Christmas campaign on track - by donating a Thomas the Tank Engine toy.
Kind-hearted Pete, 28, handed over his favourite childhood toy to help put a smile on a child's face this Christmas.
He said: "Thomas the Tank Engine was my favourite toy as a kid.
"I hope this will make a kid as happy as it did me when I was young.
"These are great charities and I'm happy to give my support and encourage others to join in making a kid happy this Christmas."
Pete's girlfriend Megan McKenna also supported The Sun's fundraising drive yesterday and said: "Every little girl deserves to be a princess."
Taking some time out of her busy schedule, the generous reality TV personality revealed Christmas is her favourite time of year.
She posed for a quick snap with a sparkly crown she has donated to the campaign, which will be sure to make one lucky child's day next month.
Megan has donated the bejewelled tiara to help make the festive season the magical time it's supposed to be as part of Smiles at Christmas.
She told The Sun: "Christmas is my favourite time of the year and it should be all about putting a smile on a kid's face."
She continued: "Christmas it about spending time with family which we can sometimes take for granted.
"Every little girl should be a princess for at least a day at Christmas!"
