Woman who was ‘stabbed’ and had ‘acid poured on her’ by husband goes missing while jogging
Cops now fear for the well being of Rachael Madison, 44, who had started a new life in Florida, US, after she disappeared while out for a run

A WOMAN who fled her "abusive" husband to start a new life after he threw acid at her has gone missing while jogging.
Rachael Madison, 44, was living in Indiana, US and left the state for Florida so she could escape her partner Jarvis, who was "violent" and "stabbed" her.
According to police reports the 50-year-old poured acid on her tattoo leaving her with a wound on her back, allegedly took his wife hostage when he discovered she was going to try and leave and also a knife to her neck.
Rachael went out jogging on Sunday and has not been seen since.
Volusia Sheriff's spokesman Andrew Grant told the : "Those past incidents are what has us concerned for her well-being."
Family members are concerned she has been kidnapped by her estranged husband, who has a warrant out for his arrest and is said to be carrying a handgun.

When she hatched her plan to escape Rachael was going to meet her aunt in a bookstore in Kentucky, but Jarvis discovered it, and according to reports held her hostage in his car, and drove around armed with the handgun.
She tried to escape by saying she needed the bathroom, and he kicked her out on the side of the road.
Rachael then tried to run but he fired his handgun at her, luckily missing.
Eventually she convinced him to take her to a Walmart to use the toilet and managed to get away.
Cops said Jarvis was a drifter, and the pair had lived in his Honda Pilot when they were made homeless.
