COPS have arrested four men after shots were fired at a police car in Bradford on Christmas Day.
Officials arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following the shooting on Sunday.
Four other men, all of whom are from Bradford, have since been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and are currently being held in police custody.
The officer was in a marked squad car with a member of the public when two shots were fired from another car in Bradford, West Yorkshire Police said.
The moment the bullets were fired at the cop car, which was responding to a disturbance outside a nightclub, was dramatically captured on CCTV.
The offending car was later found burnt out in the Great Horton area of Bradford.
The force released the footage of the moment the shots were fired from what is believed to be a black Seat Leon.
A spokesman said the incident took place as officers were attending a disturbance outside the Krizma nightclub in Sackville Street at about 4.20am on Christmas Morning.

He said armed officers carried out a series of operations in the Bradford area, and the 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Detective Superintendent Pat Twiggs said: "We are releasing this image in the hope that someone knows who was involved in this offence, recognises the vehicle involved or knows who may have been in it.
"This was clearly a targeted, highly dangerous act which could have easily resulted in fatal consequences and we are determined to bring those responsible to justice.
"Firearms incidents will not be tolerated and I am appealing to anyone who might have any information.
"In particular I am appealing to anyone who may have seen this vehicle, or its occupants in the time leading up to this incident or immediately afterwards to contact us.
"I would also appeal to anyone who saw the disturbance outside the nightclub or the vehicle being abandoned to come forward with information."
