Tributes to ‘lovable’ girl, 10, killed alongside man in horror crash in Yorkshire as six other people seriously injured

TRIBUTES have been paid to a "lovable" ten-year-old girl killed alongside a man in a horror crash that left six others seriously injured.
The double tragedy took place on Boxing Day on the A166 in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Abbie Wilson was travelling in a blue Skoda Kodiaq when it collided with a black Audi A4.
The Audi driver, 66, was declared dead at the scene while the youngster was rushed to hospital.
Sadly she couldn't be saved and was declared dead shortly after.
Abbie's devastated family have now paid tribute, saying: "Abbie was such a lovable young girl.
"She would constantly have us looking at houses she would find on the internet, describing her dream home for when she grew up.
“We will miss her so much.”
Humberside Police said six other people suffered what are believed to be serious injuries in the horror.
The force added: "Enquiries are underway after a man and a girl died following a collision in East Yorkshire, Tuesday 26 December.
"Both of their families have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.
"It is believed that the Skoda was travelling from the coast and the Audi from the York area and we ask anyone that saw the vehicles prior to the collision to get in touch."
It comes after two women died and a baby was injured in a crash - also on Boxing Day - between two cars and a quad bike in Birmingham.
Anyone with information can call police in 101 quoting log 339 of 26 December.
