A TEENAGER stabbed a former pal to death over a tracksuit, a court heard.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is said to have confronted Charlie Kutyauripo, 16, at a girl’s 16th birthday party.
He allegedly plunged a large kitchen knife through his heart outside a sports hall in Woodford, east London, last January.
They had been good friends before falling out over a tracksuit the defendant had borrowed and refused to give back, the Old Bailey heard.
The pair had both attended a girl's birthday party where the atmosphere had taken a turn for the worse once the defendant arrived, jurors were told.

Jurors were shown CCTV footage said to be of the defendant stabbing Charlie twice before fleeing the scene.
Officers arrived at around 9.40pm to find Charlie on his back bleeding, the victim was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead around 15 minutes after arrival at 10.30pm.
A postmortem showed that Charlie had suffered two stab wounds, one to his chest and another to his left shoulder.
The youth, from Ilford, east London, denies murder. The trial continues.
