Snow and floods to hit UK again before weather gets sunnier in Britain – but will you escape the flurry?
A yellow weather warning is still in place for wind in the western areas of Wales and the Scottish mountains could see a scattering of snow this evening

FLURRIES of snow and flooding could hit parts of the UK tonight, but for many it will be a bright but windy day as this month sees temperatures rise.
A yellow weather warning is still in place for wind in the western areas of Wales and the Scottish mountains could see a scattering of snow this evening.
The Enviroment Agency has also issued flood warnings for Devon and Cornwall.
The warning covers low lying land which could be hit with floods following strong winds and high tide levels.
Although the day should be bright for many, the wind will increase the chill and make it feel colder.
The north and west are likely to see less sunshine as more cloud cover persists of these parts of the UK.
For snow lovers, it is unlikely that anywhere other than the northern hills will see any flurries.
However rain is predicted this evening for western and southwestern areas as strong winds continue.
A Met Office spokesman said: ""It's really a quite dry day today so up on the top of the peaks in Scotland there could be some drizzle that could fall as snow.
"Today the main thing to be looking out for is the wind, especially in southwestern areas, there's still a yellow weather warning in the west of Wales.
"There's quite a lot of sunshine to be had in central, southern and western areas."
