THREE masked gunmen wielding an assault rifle and pistols stormed a Toronto pub, injuring 12 in an "indiscriminate" hail of bullets.
Cops have described the "messy scene" inside the pub with "blood all over the floor".
Cops said three masked male suspects, one armed with an assault rifle and the two others with handguns, burst into the Piper Arms just before 10:40pm.
Supt. Paul MacIntyre of Organized Crime Enforcement said: "They walked into the bar. They produced their guns, and they opened fire indiscriminately on the people sitting inside the bar."
"When you walk in, it’s kind of eerie. The drinks are still on the table. The food is still on the table. People’s purses, shoes are still in there.
"There’s a lot of damage to the walls. There’s glass walls that are shattered. There’s blood all over the floor."

Cops currently don't have any information on the suspects, but as initial reports emerged of the shooting, they shared on social media that the gunmen may have fled in a silver car with one wearing a black balaclava.
Officials have set up a command post as evidence begins to get collected and detectives piece together what happened.

"I can tell you this was a brazen and reckless act of violence that’s really shaken our community and the city itself."
The Piper Arms was seen with a huge "now open" sign outside and is understood to have been packed with guests.
MacIntyre mentioned that the investigation "will tell us whether or not this pub was targeted for a particular reason".
Mayor of Toronto Olivia Chow said: "I am deeply troubled to hear reports of a shooting at a pub in Scarborough.
