From major corporations, brands, and even celebrities, everyone wants to be in on the fun, as they all try to outdo each other.
Last year, BBC presenter Jeremy Vine's April Fool's prank went horribly wrong after he shared a video of a hawk swooping in to attack his drone in London – and was reported to police.
In a more lighthearted moment, Gymbox launched a workout class for dogsand their owners ... dubbed Gymbarx.

High street giant Iceland is doing something different this April Fool's Day.
Instead of pranks, the supermarket is introducing more than 450 deals on a huge range of products.
It is also maintaining some of its essential schemes and initiatives which will be a vital lifeline for Brits as they feel the pinch.
Richard Walker, executive chairman of Iceland, says: “For Iceland, this April isn’t about pranks, it’s about action. And we’re calling on other businesses to do the same.”
