Royal fans make bizarre claim about Kate & William’s Christmas card

EAGLE-EYED royal fans have been left scratching their heads after taking a closer look at the Prince and Princess of Wales's 2023 sweet Christmas card.

Kate Middleton and Prince William posed in a black and white photograph with their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and their youngest son, Prince Louis, five.

In the photo, which was shared on December 9, the proud parents beamed at the camera along with their children, who all wore matching white shirts.

Prince Charlotte sits on a chair in the centre of the family, wearing jeans and trainers.

While Kate places her hand around George's waist, Prince William takes on his fatherly role resting his hand on the shoulder of Louis.

The granulated black-and-white snap taken by Yorkshire photographer Josh Shinner was shared on X with the caption: “Our family Christmas card for 2023.”

The post was soon flooded with compliments from adoring fans around the world - but some thought they'd spotted a strange detail.

One wrote: "What a wonderful picture! The children are growing so fast!"

Another commented: “In this simple and beautiful pic I can see a couple who cherish and love deeply their children and family.

“A couple who put the respect, loyalty, family and duties above of everything.”

However, some fans were drawn to Louis' left hand, which they thought was missing a finger.

One fan wrote on X: "Is Prince Louis missing a finger? What in the AI is going on."

Another penned: “I’m not a fan of this photo, look at Louis and his left hand, what is going on with that?”

Fans also spotted another odd detail in the photo, saying that Prince William's leg appeared to be missing.

One person circled a bare leg in the space underneath Prince Louis, writing: "Whose legs are these?"

But another appeared to solve the mystery, replying: "William's leg in long pants, and Louis in shorts."
