Celtic fans were earlier on in the day left worried he was about to return to England after he was pictured on a flight to London, though it turned out he was only in the capital for a scan on his knee.

Signed in the summer from Fulham in the Championship, Dembele found the back of the net 19 times in 63 appearances for the West Londoners, scoring 15 goals as he helped the Cottagers avoid relegation last year.

It was revealed earlier on by 'Get French Football' on Twitter that Celtic rejected a £35million offer for the centre-forward.
His strong performances this season domestically and in the Champions League has skyrocketed Dembele's reputation, and if he carries on his remarkable form, Rodgers will have a hard task from preventing more offers in the summer.
