The 20-year-old emerged as a shock target for Antonio Conte's men late in the transfer window, but have failed in their attempts to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Celtic fans were earlier on in the day left worried he was about to return to England after he was pictured on a flight to London, though it turned out he was only in the capital for a scan on his knee.

It was revealed earlier on by 'Get French Football' on Twitter that Celtic rejected a £35million offer for the centre-forward.
His strong performances this season domestically and in the Champions League has skyrocketed Dembele's reputation, and if he carries on his remarkable form, Rodgers will have a hard task from preventing more offers in the summer.
