BREAKDANCERS upstaged the Olympics closing ceremony as Olympians opted to watch them instead.
The Paris Olympics came to a thrilling end at the Stade de France in a ceremony featuring music and Hollywood Tom Cruise.

Athletes paraded into the capital city stadium after three weeks of competing.
They watched on as the Olympic flag was passed onto the Americans ahead of the LA games in 2028.
However, some were more interested in watching the breakdancers perform.
Footage from the stands showed the athletes standing in a circle around the breakdancers.

The three in the centre could be seen spinning on their backs as their fellow athletes applauded them.
Viewers were convinced that the breakdancers were upstaging the closing ceremony speeches.
One posted: "I recognize that it was when there were speeches."

- Soul - this is the interpretation aspect, how the breakers interpret the music, the competition, the specific battle, the room and how they display their character and bounce off the energy
