When it comes to naming all-time squads from the last couple of decades, not many people would select Cafu at right-back.
He may not be up for those lung-bursting runs up and down the flank but in the second-half he played more wide on the right of attack.
The fact that Milan became more of an attacking threat was solely down to this tactical switch as Cafu was the architect of the majority of their chances.
All the Tottenham fans have more of a realisation for what the former AC Milan player brought to football.

At 37-years-old, Aaron Lennon showed the fans that he still has the pace that used to cause defenders' nightmares.
Staying on for the majority of the game, he ran into the channels and Milan had no answer for him.
Assisting goals, the winger was a constant threat and put in such a performance you wonder if he could still be playing at some level.
Another phonecall for Ryan Reynolds to ponder maybe.

Michael Dawson is more used to the Soccer Saturday studio nowadays since retiring from football.
He rolled back the years this afternoon as he proved to be the lynchpin to the Tottenham Legends defence.
The defender still reads the game so well and proved to be the last line of defence as Milan looked to thread balls in behind them.
For a lot of the second-half, it was pretty much Dawson versus Cafu.
The judges' cards would have decided that it ended a draw between the pair.

When the starting line-ups were announced, Spurs looked impressive with a front three of Defoe, Berbatov and Keane.
Their movement into pockets of space had the Italians all over the shop from the off.
It was no surprise that the trio contributed four goals to this game.
With Sheringham and Falco both coming off the bench in the second-half, the fans were treated some real goalscoring greats from the club's past.
Italian maestro strutting his stuff
Pace was never a part of Andrea Pirlo's game and he looked a class act in North London this afternoon.
His free-kick was a thing of beauty, as he curled it around the wall and into the top corner.
He was a constant threat to Tottenham Legends and more often than not he just needed more players on his wavelength.
