Follow ALL of the latest from Aintree below...

  • Delayed

They've just announced on ITV racing that the 5pm is DELAYED.

It is unclear why or when the race will take place - we will update as soon as more news comes through.

  • 17.00 Maghull Novice's Chase

    Kalif Du Berlais – 15/8

    L’eau Du Sud – 12/5

    Only By Night – 11/4

    Touch Me Not – 8/1

    Special Cadeau – 20/1

    Brookie – 33/1

  • Trainers' Championships

It was a good day for Mullins in the race for the Trainers' Championship as well - he is now just £137,429 behind Dan Skelton at the top of that table.

  • 'Incredible'

Patrick Mullins has also been interviewed and was clearly overjoyed at the massive win.

    "It's just incredible," he said.

"He jumped fantastic and I was there way too soon.

"It was a long way from the back o the last but this is everything I've dreamed of since I was a kid.

"It sounds a cliche but when I was five or six I was reading books about the National and watching videos of the likes of Red Rum, and to put my name amongst them is incredible.

"He just a brilliant horse. He's not very big and one of the smallest in the field but he's a great ride."

  • Great day for Mullins

Willie Mullins could be seen wiping away tears during an interview after an incredible day for the trainer.

It was almost a clean sweep as his horses came first - with his son riding the winner - second, third and fifth.

  • Keep it in the family

What a perfect day for the Mullins family.

  • Stewart Andrew on the loss of his wife

He told ITV racing: "Out of such sadness, joy has been born. Nick Rockett has done it all for me."

He is then seen giving winning jockey Patrick Mullins a piggy back!

  • Nick Rockett's to victory at Aintree

Willie Mullins had the top three in the showpiece event.

However, it was Patrick Mullins who stole the show for his father.

  • Rockett Man

Nick Rockett sealed a fairytale Grand National win for Bradford-born Stewart Andrew - with his beloved late wife's favourite horse.

The Willie Mullins-trained monster ridden by amateur jockey and son Patrick saw off last year's winner I Am Maximus at huge odds of 33-1.

Stewart Andrew's wife Sadie died from cancer in December 2022 just days after seeing Nick Rockett's debut run.

Nick Rockett is still officially owned by Stewart and Sadie Andrew - but it is just Stewart who travels between Britain and Ireland watching his superstar horse.

And he will have looked to the skies toasting his late wife after the win of a lifetime.

Unflappable Mullins, the top trainer over jumps, broke down in tears on live TV after - the emotion of the incredible win far too much even for him.

  • Moments to go before big one

This is what we have all been waiting for.

The race that every jockey craves to win, a life-changing moment for many.

As ever, it is a huge field and it really is a lottery as to who has the, form, luck and position to take it home.

  • Former winner impressed with champ

I am Maximum is looking to add himself to an elite list of horses that have won back-to-back Grand Nationals.

'Look at the skin on him!' - Former Grand National-winning jockey Daryl Jacob reckons defending champ I Am Maximus looks utterly sensational ahead of his bid for a second straight win in the Grand National.

The pressure is on but the horse is looking in fine form.

  • De Bromhead with perfect plan

Henry De Bromhead planned his run so well in the race.

He came through with none of his competitors having enough in the tank to hold him off.

We are seeing today that tactics and race plans are key.
