  • Real 'shame'

Not taking the defeat well in Madrid...

  • The world reacts

  • Mbappé consolation

If there's one player that can go back to the capital with a bit of solace in their performance, its Kylian Mbappé.

The French superstar notched himself a hat-trick and in the process went back ahead of Robert Lewandowski in the Golden Boot race - and a record-holder too.

Mbappé surpasses Iván Zamorano's 37 goals and is now Real Madrid's best debutante ever.

Iván Zamorano, in 1992-93, scored 37 goals in 45 matches (0.82 average) but Mbappé's 39 now holds the record.

  • Madrid Killers

It's not confirmed yet, but soon Barcelona will be able to claim that their once again top of the LaLiga pops - pipping the two Madrid clubs in the process.

The numbers have suggested in direct match-ups, the Catalans have got too much firepower.

Barcelona have scored 32 goals against Madrid clubs this season with Real conceding the bulk of them: 17 goals in 4 Clasicos in all competitions.

Some incredible boosting stats from a Barcelona perspective. Not so much if you're of a Madrid contingent.

  • Flick has his say on Clásico win

Hansi Flick speaking in his post-match press conference: "It's not always fun for me, but I'm happy with the way we're playing. Football is a game of mistakes. We have to minimize them."

"The key to everything is intensity during the training sessions.

"Winning 4 Clasicos means a lot to the fans. Now we focus on winning the next match."

  • What next for Ancelotti?

Well, its been heavily reported that the Italian coach will leave at the end of the season with Xabi Alonso waiting in the wings to succeed.

With the league all but done, there's further possibility that this could be Ancelotti's last game in charge.

Ancelotti has NEVER defended a league title in his career.

Regardless his future lays elsewhere with the Brazilian national team and Saudi side Al Hilal circling for his signature.
