Roberto Carlos Slams Roy Hodgson for ‘destroying him’ while the pair were at Inter
After spending a year under Hodgson's watch during the 1995/95 season, the Brazilian claims the former England manager is clueless about football

ROBERTO CARLOS has heavily criticised Roy Hodgson's managerial ability, claiming the former England boss "doesn’t know much about football."
The former Real Madrid star Carlos is arguably the greatest left-back of all time, having won four La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues and the World Cup.
Carlos also scooped numerous trophies while playing in his homeland and even landed silverware during a short stint in Turkey.
Hodgson was in charge during Carlos' sole season with Inter and opted to play the Brazilian as an attacker or midfielder rather than in his natural position at the back.
Speaking to Planet Football, the Brazilian slammed his former manager: "Hodgson’s stay at Inter destroyed me. He played me in midfield and I had to consider that there was a chance that this would ruin my career in the national side.
"It’s not that I did not have a good relationship with Hodgson. It is just that Hodgson doesn’t know much about football."
The 44-year-old even blames the former Liverpool manager for Inter's Uefa Cup lost against Schalke in 1996.
He said: "When Inter lost in the Uefa Cup final against Schalke in '96, it was purely because of Hodgson."
His one season at Italian giants Inter in the 95/96 season left him feeling a bit flat, despite securing a move to Real the year after.

At Los Blancos, Carlos reveals he was extremely influenced by then-manager Fabio Capello, who he believes was positively different to Hodgson.
He said: "Fabio Capello [who signed the player for Real from Inter] was different – so different – and when I moved to Madrid I did it because of him.
"He is the most important coach I have had in my life."
