NBA superstar endured a horror few seconds in the Golden State Warriors win last night
STEPH CURRY was involved in an epic double-fail last night in the Golden State Warriors' big win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The only-ever unanimous MVP - in the 2015-16 season - endured a horror few seconds in the 130-111 victory.
In the third quarter of the blowout win, NBA superstar Curry, 30, went one the one-man fastbreak and attempted a rare dunk.
And let's just say it's no wonder he usually sticks to three-point shooting...
As 6ft 3ins Curry planted his foot to go up for the mega dunk, he slipped and lost control of the ball.
Fortunately for him, Warriors team-mate Andre Iguodala grabbed the loose ball and passed it out to Curry for what would normally be a regulation corner three for the dead-eye shooter.
But not only did Curry miss, he horrendously blew his effort, missing the rim, backboard - and more importantly - the net.
Fans reacted in utter shock on social media with one saying: "This is amazing. Blew an open layup then air-balled a three?"
Another added: "This just made my day!!"
A third wrote: "This is the best Curry clip of all time."
It was a rare off-night for Curry, who tallied just 11 points - miles off his season average of 29.3 points per game - in the big win at the Staples Center.
However, "Chef" did tally 12 assists as he set-up fellow Splash brother Klay Thompson for a stunning 44 points.
Kevin Durant added 20 points as the Warriors never needed to get out of second gear as they remain top of the Western Conference.
