Pep Guardiola’s new Manchester City pad sits in one of Britain’s gun hotspots where notorious gangster was shot dead
Cultured Spaniard's apartment technically lies in the Manchester United-supporting heartland of Salford

PEP GUARDIOLA's new Manchester City home will be in Salford - one of Britain's gun hotspots.
The cultured Spaniard has snubbed the sprawling mansions of Cheshire's 'golden triangle' for life in the city centre.
But just last year there were a spate of shootings in the area, including the murder of notorious gangster Paul Massey.
He was once dubbed Salford's Mr Big and was a police target for decades before being gunned down outside his home.
As if that wasn't enough, the address is technically in the Manchester United-supporting heartland of Salford, adjacent to the River Irwell.

But Guardiola, who will be unveiled as City boss this weekend before taking training for the first time on Monday, will move in to the luxury apartment near Manchester cathedral.
The 17-storey development has been labelled "the most desirable address in Manchester" offering a "new era of city centre accommodation".
Fashion designer wife-of-27 years Cristina Serra and the couple's three children are expected to move into the apartment with the ex-Barcelona boss.
The serviced apartments include a swimming pool, spa, jacuzzi and concierge service.
Cristina is understood to have made a number of visits to England to check out the pad and is thought to have put her personal stamp on the interior.
She has also been spotted at St Bede's College, the private school with which City have an association and where they send their academy stars.
