Everton join Southampton and Leicester in the race to sign Portugal and Sporting Lisbon star William Carvalho
Ronald Koeman looking at talented defensive midfielder as move for Liverpool target Axel Witsel slows down

RONALD KOEMAN has joined the race for Portugal midfielder William Carvalho.
The Sporting Lisbon star, 24, is also wanted by Koeman’s ex-club Southampton and has been tracked by Leicester.
But he is also on Everton’s wanted list as they look at their options in defensive midfield.
Koeman has been trying to sort a deal for Zenit St Petersburg’s Axel Witsel but knows he faces competition from clubs including neighbours Liverpool.
Carvalho will be available for £20million this summer once the Euros are over after he featured in their run to the final.
