Christmas Eve football on TV: Is there any football to watch TODAY?

THERE will be no Premier League games on Christmas Eve.
It was decided that none of the scheduled December 23 matches were to be moved there for live TV coverage.
Liverpool's trip to Arsenal was under consideration to make the switch from December 23 to 24.
But, following fans' group protests and a general rethink, it goes ahead this Friday at 7.45pm.
And there was very little appetite for soccer action this Sunday from the Football League or any other leagues for that matter.
So... what can I watch live on Christmas Eve?

Well, look no farther then the Eredivisie in Holland for your live coverage.
Sky Sports Football present two games: Ajax vs Willem II at 1.30pm and Feyenoord vs Roda JC at 3.45pm.

The last Premier League game to take place on Christmas Eve was in 1995 when Leeds United beat Manchester United 3-1.
Until 1957, there was a full programme of Football League fixtures on Christmas Day, with the reverse fixtures taking place on Boxing Day.
Blackpool continued to play home fixtures on Christmas Day until 1965.
