Your TV has hundreds of hidden free channels filled with popular shows and movies – you don’t even need to sign-up

THERE are an abundance of paid streaming services around these days - and they don't get any cheaper unless you're prepared to accept adverts.
But there are a load of free alternatives around with some well-known content to boot.
And there are even more free TV channels to watch beyond your normal terrestrial channels too that many people aren't aware of.
These channels are all internet based and known as FAST, which stands for free ad-support TV.
The good thing about them is most don't even require you to sign up as they're totally free.
LG and Samsung are just two of the manufacturers who have developed their own set of special channels built directly within the set.
For people with an LG TV it's available via an app called LG Channels.
There's a huge variety, from reality TV with Real Housewives, to top dramas and cartoons for kids.
Here are some of the themed channels you can enjoy:
Samsung's version is called Samsung TV Plus channels, which also has themed channels.
These range from Homes Under the Hammer to Come Dine With Me and Hell's Kitchen.
If your smart TV doesn't have its own channels, some other streaming services might be able to help.
Search for the Pluto TV app which has a number of themed channels.
Freevee is Amazon's ad-based version with a similar offering - and is the new home to Neighbours.
There you'll find channels like Back to the 90s with hits such as Baywatch and a channel dedicated to everything Love Island.
If you don't have a smart TV you might want to get an Amazon Fire Stick as this will give you all these features at a low price without having to replace your TV.
