What is a titanosaur?
A titanosaur is a dinosauria and belonged to the sub group sauropoda.
Sauropoda are recognised for their enormous size and they are believed to be the largest animals ever to live on earth.
Compared to other dinosaurs in their species titanosaurs had a small and wide head and large nostrils.
They had relatively short necks but however had long tails, almost like a whip.

Titanosaurs were the dominant vegetarians of their time.
Normally they travelled in large groups throughout the forest and ate around 2000 of plants a day.
It is believed that titanosaurs were not picky and ate any plant they were able to reach.
How big were titanosaurs?
The estimated length of a titanosaur varies from 82 to 100 feet (25 to 30.5 meters).
