Amazon reveals new gadget to boost Wi-Fi speed that makes it possible to download a 4K movie in seconds

AMAZON has unveiled a brand new Wi-Fi router that can let users download high-definition 4K movies in just 10 seconds.
Meanwhile, a 50GB video game takes less than a minute to install with the company's latest gadget.
Amazon's Eero Max 7 boasts wireless speeds of up to 4.3 Gbps and wired speeds up to 9.4 Gbps.
This makes it the fasted tri-band mesh Wi-Fi system from Eero so far.
Mesh Wi-Fi systems are similar to extenders or boosters.
They essentially pick up the signal of an existing router and push it out further and wider.

It works with all the major internet providers, so users don't need to worry about it being compatible with their existing Wi-Fi hub.
Just one Eero Max 7 device can cover up to 2,500 square feet.
That's about 1,000 square footage than what its Eero 6 predecessor was capable of.
Amazon Echo device can also be used as Wi-Fi extenders inside the Eero network for an extra connection boost.

The device has two 10 GB and two 2.5 GB Ethernet ports, so users can connected multiple wired devices, such as TV and gaming consoles.
Customers can also access internet plans up to 10 Gbps, according to Amazon.
The new Wi-Fi device was revealed last night at Amazon's devices event at its Virginia HQ.
Amazon bought Eero when it was just a Wi-Fi hardware startup in 2019 for an eyewatering $97million (£78m).
Co-founder and CEO of Eero, Nick Weaver, said the seventh iteration of the device was of an "entirely new class."
"With tens of millions of Eero devices around the world, we know customers notice even a millisecond delay when streaming a movie or gaming, want reliable connectivity in every corner of the home, and always look for faster speeds," he said during the product's announcement.
Amazon's Eero Max 7 will be available "soon," according to the marketplace-turned-tech-giant.
It currently carries a fairly lofty pricetag of $599.99 (£599.99) for one device, $1,149.99 (£1,149.99) for a two-pack and $1,699.99 (£1,699.99) for a three-pack.
