Sky and Virgin customers warned of three major channel changes today – and there are more to come later this week

CHECK your TV guides today – a new swap might mean your favourite channel has just been replaced.
Sky and Virgin Media customers have been warned that three channels are being traded out on Monday, March 3.
And there are more changes to come later in the week.
The change is being led by Sky, so it affects anyone with a Sky Q box (or another satellite box), Sky Glass TV, or Sky Stream puck.
However, many Virgin Media customers also get access to Sky channels through their packages.
So Virgin Media viewers will also want to check their TV guides to see what's new.
The three channels that are changing are Sky Fast, Sky Assassins, and Sky Family.
They'll all be swapped out for different channels today, and chances are that it's already happened on your TV.
Sky Fast is normally on channel 307, and is being renamed to Sky Martial Arts.
This is a temporary change, which means it'll be swapped back to Sky Fast at a later date.
Then there's Sky Assassins, which you'd usually find on channel 309.
That's going to become Sky Thriller HD, which is actually a change back from a previous swap.
And the third channel that is changing is Sky Family, on number 306.
That's going to turn into Sky Kids Books temporarily – in celebration of World Book Day on March 6.
Sky has revealed two more swaps coming soon.
On Tuesday, March 4 – yes, tomorrow – the Sky Awards Winners channel will be changed.
That's no surprise, given that the Oscars 2025 awards show is now behind us.
The channel was found on number 304, but will now become Sky Women In Film.
This is a temporary change, which means it'll turn into something else down the line.
Then on Saturday, March 8, Sky Ultimate Action will turn into Sky Originals HD.
Got Sky Q? There are some handy tricks worth knowing about...
Find your lost TV remote
If you can't find your Sky Q remote, don't panic.
Just press the Sky Q logo on the front of your TV box.
It's actually a button that will trigger your TV remote's built-in ringer.
You'll get 30 seconds of beeping to find where you've dropped it. Hint: it's probably under the sofa cushion.
Search movies by quotes
You might have already used voice search for controlling TV playback – but your remote's microphone has another clever trick.
It turns out that you can say movie quotes into the remote and Sky will find the film for you.
This is handy if you can't remember the name of a top movie or show.
Here's a list of movie quotes to try on Sky.
Save lost recordings
Have you ever deleted something you'd recorded on Sky, only to regret it later?
Or maybe someone in your family removed something without telling you – sparking a massive row.
Don't panic: you can get them back.
Just go to Recordings > Manage > Deleted and then simply hit Undelete on the item that you want to resurrect.
If you do that, it'll return to your Recordings section as good as new.

You'll find that one on channel 302.
Of course these aren't the only changes that you can expect in March.
We'll probably see several more channels swaps before the month is over.
Sky typically only announces its channel changes about a week in advance, so we only have info up to Saturday, March 8.
If you're interested in the changes that might have passed you by, here's a list of all the swaps that were made in February.
This is Sky's official list, revealed by an employee from the TV giant...
